Remote Online Notary

No matter how a notary performs their service, all notaries must watch someone sign a document.  Historically, this has required that the notary and signer meet with one another “in-person” where the notary serves as a witness during the signing appointment.    

A remote online notary uses audio-visual technology and the internet to notarize your important documents instead of appearing face to face with each other.  Remote notarization allows anyone to connect with an authorized electronic notary public at any time to sign and notarize documents. Using a remote online notary allows the signer the convenience of being able to have documents notarized from a completely different state or country than the notary. The notary, however, must be in the state where they are commissioned.
